madison

These photos were all taken with the Elph, and not edited. Just nice, clean, easy & beautifully rendered from the camera.

My subject for this exercise in composition was an old lifeguard's chair at the Madison Park beach on the shores of Lake Washington. The lighting was perfect and it was a pleasure to capture the abstract close-ups of this antique.

Unlike the A520 (and the uber lavish A590), the Elph's manual controls are pretty dang limited. One thing I can do, though, is manually set the ISO, so I experimented with some extreme over exposure and set the ISO to 80. I kinda like the washed look

And I'll just wrap up the post with these three images of the chair. I am not sure if I will do some editing down the road; for now I just kinda like the simplicy of the photos.

take care
