I am loving the shadows this time of year. Each day, just before lunch, the light is coming through my window, casting interesting shadows on my desk and wall. It is comforting. This afternoon, I headed out of the office for a quick trip to the creek.

My mission today: shadows. I found them on building walls, in the parking lot, and along the path, but the ones in a grouping of trees caught my eye. The pics below are the same image; the top one is unedited and the bottom one has had a bit of processing. I lowered the brightness and contrast and increased the sharpness.
